Right now it is 9:48 PM. I can smell the smoke from our neighbors grill and feel a cool breeze coming in through our patio door and hear the dish washer. Andy is outside sitting on the patio trying to cool off from having the kids sit on his lap when he was reading them stories before bedtime. A very late bedtime.
This weekend On Friday we had the closing on our condo which was a great relief. On Saturday Andy rode his bike down to the bank to use some of the money from the sale to pay off our car loan and I went shopping with Gabe and Clare to buy Clare some summer clothes and shoes mostly. We found lots of good stuff at Goodwill and a few things like some puzzles that are just about right for Clare at another consignment shop. We were out for four hours. Yikes! but we were back in time for supper.
On Sunday we went Latin Mass where Gabe was alter server due to the fact that the one scheduled couldn't make it. I also took the little kids for a bike ride in their trailer while Andy made supper.
This week I plan to spend some time with my brother and his kids who are visiting this week, go grocery shopping, and buy some craft supplies for preschool activities with Clare. I also want to get out a letter to my Dad.
Some prayer intentions That my brother has a good visit with his boys, prayers of thanks for the sale of the condo, that the Lord may lead me in the right schooling decision for my oldest son.
Something that makes me smile...
Seeing Clare and Ephrem make each other laugh. I'm so glad that they have each other.
Monday Musings is hosted by Nadja at Patch O' Dirt.
