Our eventful week is coming to an end

Clare was sick for at least the first part of the week.  She started throwing up last Thursday (only the week before she was also throwing up).  She was not feeling well at all and slept A LOT.  At least she figured out that she needed to get up and throw up in the bucket.  (She hadn't really ever had a stomach flu before.)She was really grouchy and almost unbearable at times.  Yesterday  she started showing signs of recovery and today she seemed to do pretty well though she still seems pretty grouchy at times.   This is part of her temperament but I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say that it is also partly because she is still recovering.  (She still has to stand in the corner if it gets to be too much though.)

Gabe has been home from school for Spring Break this week.  I have to say that it was really nice having him here.  We had some good conversation at times and he was able to help me with the little kids and chores in general.  He has been working around the house doing extra chores to earn money to pay at least half for a new bike.    It feels a lot more relaxed when he is at home and doesn't have homework to do.  It gives us a lot more time together in the evenings as a family to pray and read.  Would it be better in this regard if we homeschooled him again?  Maybe.  We need to make sure we keep up some kind of family evening prayer routines when he goes back to school though.  Especially for Lent.

We finally found a new realtor to work on selling our condo.  She seems more business like than our old one and she took some pictures of our condo that I thought made the place look really great.  Twenty-five pictures all together.  The listings with the most pictures are always the most interesting.  I hope this draws in a buyer.  I have renewed hope for selling it.

And finally, here is what I made for St. Patrick's Day today:
