Birthdays. It was Gabe's birthday on Sunday and mine on Monday. I played in a concert on Sunday and we went to see Andy's parents. The next day was my birthday. I was kind of depressed as it just seemed like a normal day and Andy went to work and didn't come home until late.
Symphony concerts. Last weeks was taken up with rehearsals and concerts this weekend. It was all very nice but I am behind on my house work and Andy has been working so much lately that I haven't had time to do much else.
Andy's been working a lot. He was supposed to take off this whole week but didnt' stop working until today when I had a few words with him. "Enough is enough," I said. "You told them you were going to take a vacation. Have them give your work to someone else." And so he did. He thanked me for bringing him back to reality. I wished I had said this yesterday. Some more time to relax before we go out of town would have been nice. He just hasn't been around and I was tired of it. I need a vacation too!
40 days for life. Went today to pray at the clinic. Very nice. I was with other people who I knew who were also Catholic so we could say the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, etc. Sometimes it is difficult to pray when you are with a non-catholic as you don't know the same prayers. Some people tend to be more chatty than others and I don't think it would necessarily be a bad thing to stand in silence at least part of the time.
