FOR TODAY
Outside my window...there is a full moon. I can hear the interstate because my window is open and it is a warm night for October.
I am thinking...that I am overwhelmed with all the clutter. Where do I begin and when do I start?
I am thankful...to be back home from our vacation to Viroqua, WI. I am also thankful that we had such a nice trip and am glad to come back refreshed.
From the learning rooms...I want to start again with Little Saints Preschool with Clare. I have the library books checked out for the next two lessons and I really want to go through these lesson before the books are due back.
In the kitchen...is left over Lousiana Beans that I made in my new crock pot on Wednesday of last week before we went on our trip. I put most of it in the freezer before we left but we had what I left in the fridge today and it was good.
I am wearing...my favorite brown shorts from Old Navy that I bought years ago and my dark purple knit top that I got a few years ago at Kohl's on clearance. Bare feet.
I am creating...my third knit dish cloth from the "grandma's favorite dish" cloth pattern.
I am going...to practice my bass tomorrow night since I missed today.
I am wondering...if I will be able to put in an hour with 40 days for life this week and if I should just drop in for an unofficial hour with the kids.
I am reading...I was reading the book of Romans on our vacation. Last night and today I was reading about St. Elizabeth of Hungary in the book entitled: Married Saints and Blesseds through the Centuries by Ferdinand Holbock. I also read about St. Frances de Chantal.
I am hoping...that Andy will be able to get the work he needs to get done on time and that God will give him the strength and insight he needs to get it done.
I am looking forward to...a cup of coffee in the morning.
I am hearing...the interstate like I said and the hum of my compter. The clicking of keys.
Around the house...there are towels in the dryer that need to be brought up.
I am pondering...a quote from Saint Gianna Molla: "One cannot love without suffering or suffer without loving."
One of my favorite things...is reading blogs
A few plans for the rest of the week: to get practicing in, to start cleaning the basement, to make a menu and grocery list, to drink wine with my husband.
Here is picture or thought I am sharing.
Here is a picture I caught of Clare reading to her "baby" a few weeks ago. She doens't play with her doll all that often but every now and then...
