Right now...It is almost 3:00 and Gabe is riding his bike to debate club. It is windy and clouds have covered the sun again. Ephrem didn't go to sleep for nap time and is getting over a cold that started Sunday night. Clare is lying awake in my bed after sleeping a bit. She is not feeling well and I assume she had whatever Ephrem is getting over though she hasn't had a fever yet.
The past few days...Like I said Ephrem has been sick. Saturday night he woke up crying and kept swallowng and burping like there was something wrong with his tummy. He finally fell asleep. Sunday night after I got home from rehearsal he was crying non stop for about 40 minutes at around 7:30 PM. He had the same kind of burping/hiccuping thing with a fever and kind of sounded like he was in pain. I called the doctor and by the time I got to talk to her he had just fallen asleep. We figured that the tylenol had finally kicked in and he seemed o.k. after that and better the next day.
Yesterday it seemed that Clare started getting sick she kept waking up crying during the night and then falling asleep right away. Today she still seems slightly under the weather.
Some plans for the week...I need to pick up Gabe's bow from the repair shop, I need to get taxes ready and make an appointment with the accountant; send in a soil sample for my garden; decide if the kids will be well enough to go to a birthday party on Thursday. Rehearsals. I want to work on making a few simple play things for the kids for easter ome of which is felt doughtnuts that I found in book and which I thought looked really cute and easy.
I am praying for... healing for my Dad and all those in his nursing home, the blessing of another child, my husband at work and my children.
Something that makes me smile...My husband planted the peonies that I bought last year and the Lillies of the Valley that I bought a few weeks ago. Thank you. A few less things to worry about.
