{Pretty and Happy}

Below are pictures of our short trip to the lake this week.  I packed a simple supper; then we picked up Andy from work and headed out.  He is headed into the busy season at work so it was nice for us to all take a break and have some family time.  There is something about being next to a body of water that is just so relaxing.  This little excursion lifted my spirits when they definately needed lifting.

Parts of the "beach" were muddy and as a result we had some pretty muddy shoes that needed to be rinsed off.  The nearby playground also seemed to be littered with what my husband thought was racoon waste, to put it politely.  Swimming was free at this particular part of the lake.  Maybe next time we'll go to the paid part where hopefully it may be kept up better. I hate to complain, we had fun anyway.
